Starting his career in 1987 as a Flight Engineer in the Royal Air Force, Neil has gained over 34 years’ of engineering experience that has seen him work in a variety of different sectors, including well over a decade of offshore experience working in supervisor positions on-board various specialist vessels such as cable lay, construction and dive support.
Neil has technical experience covering a broad spectrum of engineering and disciplines with a particular focus on advanced cyber controlled equipment. Additionally he is a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) subject matter expert with operational and maintenance experience having undertaken construction, survey and IMR projects worldwide in both deep and shallow water.
Neil joined ADC in 2021 as Team Lead for our Integrated Control and ROV division and is the technical subject matter expert for this discipline. Neil manages ADC’s team of Integrated Control System (ICS) and ROV specialists and has been involved in a number of ROV assurance projects since joining the company.
Outside of work Neil enjoys the outdoors and spends weekends exploring the countryside with his wife or competing in Hill Climb and Sprint motorsport events with his son.
