Rig InSpection
ADC inspections aim to contribute to preparing the rig for drilling operations. We understand that to do that, we must fit in with the onshore and offshore teams and provide direct feedback to enable early repair and closure of any non-conformances identified.
Known high risk areas are targeted by analysing our inspection data from the past +35 years to identify common trends across rig types, Drilling Contractors, OEMs and locations.
ADC’s operational assurance and inspection experience spans over 35 years, from compound (mechanical) drive land rigs to 7th & 8th generation and DP3 Drillships, enabling us to deliver inspections of the highest standard by first insisting on understanding our clients’ operations requirements and applying any lessons learned from data gathered during previous projects.
ADC’s extensive OEM training programme enables our rig inspectors to access OEMs such as Aker Solutions, MH Wirth, NOV and Kongsberg. This allows for a fully integrated approach in line with OEM testing of equipment for functionality and operability, as well as fault finding and maintenance.
