ADC and Saipem have successfully implemented an advanced AI-based predictive maintenance system on the Saipem 12000, a high-specification ultra-deepwater drillship.
By combining ADC’s 40 years of rig equipment, maintenance and operations experience with its data science capabilities, and Saipem’s rig operations expertise, this transformative project reduces downtime, enhances safety, and optimises operational efficiency.
It demonstrates how collaboration between domain led technology providers like ADC, and forward-thinking industry leaders such as Saipem can accelerate the shift from time/usage-based maintenance to predictive strategies – enabling drilling contractors to safely extend maintenance intervals while reducing cost. We’re proud to have delivered such a high-impact project in collaboration with Saipem.
